Welcome to English Learning @ Oakhurst
At Oakhurst STEAM Academy, we currently have 24 languages represented from 33 different countries. We have 329 language minority students. Oakhurst has 2 English Learner teachers to support our English Language Learners, Mrs. Gorman and Mrs. Fox. We are excited to learn and grow with our ELs!

Testing Information
ACCESS 2.0
ACCESS 2.0 is the annual English proficiency test EL students take in February. This test measures how much growth EL students have made in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
W-APT
W-APT is the initial language test that qualifies Language Minority students for English Language Services. Students new to CMS who have any language other than English listed on their language survey will be screened if they haven't been screened already.
